Our College was established in the year 1989 with the blessing of Goddess Maa Durga and the whole hearted co-operation of our local elites

    In the beginning stage it imparted teaching in +2Arts by taking 30 students in Talmul High School campus. After two years it was shifted & started functioning in its own campus spreading over 15.30 Acres of land, three kilometers away from the Talmul High School

     The College is recognized by the Govt. of Odisha was affiliated to Govt. of Odisha Higher education Dept. & C.H.S.E, Odisha respectively in the year 1990-91. It got recognition & Affilation for 128 students in Arts wing in the year 1990-91 and 192 seats in the year 1995-96.

     The +2 Science stream was opened I the year 1994-96(64) seats with P.C.M.BG. It got recognition in the year 1995-96 and seats from 64 to 128 in the session 2010-11.

     The college is receiving 40% Block Grant under GIA 2009. Now, the Sub-Collector, Angul is the Ex-officio of President and Principal (I/C) is the Ex-Officio of Secretary of the College G.B and discharging all the powers and functions of the Governing Body.

    The present student's strength of the college is about 640 with 15 teaching staff and 15 Non-teaching staff respectively.

     The College is in its growing stage, it has to strive hard to become one of the famous institutions of the State. All of us most worked together and co-operate with the administration to make our dream real one.
