Subas Science College, Patia, Bhubaneswar set up at the heart of Patia , Bhubaneswar Block, BBSR (MC), Odisha in the year 1987 under society registration act xxi of 1860 by the eminent personalities of the locality to impart higher education.
The Aim of this college is to instill in the students a defined culture , discipline & dedication while persuing glearing knowledge. Chandaka college is the largest non govt. educational institution of the locality got permission from DHE Odisha from the academic session 2004-05 to impart education in +2 Science having sanctioned strength of 128 seats. The institution has also got affiliation from CHSE , Odisha from the session 2004-05 besides the institution has received Temporary recognition from the session 2004-05 from DHE, Odisha vide letter no-15641, Dt. - 01/05/2004 & Temporary affiliation from CHSE from 01-05-2004 from the session 2004-05
