The dawn of the education awareness in Higher Education ushered in the horizon of Buguda, a cultured & beautiful area in the District of Ganjam by swearing the opening of the college in the name of Sri Baladev Jew Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Buguda by showing the provision of Intermediate of Arts in 1999. The college was inaugurated on 2nd June 1999 and at the Baladev Bihar by Simanchal Behera ,Ex-MLA, J.N Prasad Assembly Constituency.

     Now it is running its 12th eventful year of life by the sufficing Higher educational needs in the N.A.C area and the area nearby.

     During 2006-07 the college received permission from Govt. of Orissa to open +2 Arts Course with 64 seats each in MIL (O), English, History, Political Science, Education, Odia (Opt.).

     The all round development of the college is the be all and end all of the students, staff and the local people.

     Theme of our college is to "open the world of knowledge for our dear students and to provide all possible access to achieve success". Established in 1999, this college has been catering knowledge & wisdom, spreading the light of education and opening the path to success by developing personality of our dearest students.
