Satybadi Higher Secondary School, Kalapathar has established to facilitate higher education to the needy ones of Kalapathar and periphery gram Panchyat. Since its inception it has been imparting education at +2 level. 

The college is permanently recognized by Government of Odisha and also  permanently affiliated to the council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha.This is a co-educational +2 institute with 128 in +2 Arts.

Though it was established in 1999, till now it is managed by a Governing Body duly approved by the Regional Director of Education (RDE), Sambalpur.

This year the college complete 12 years. The present student strength of the college is 256 with 06 teaching staff and 06 non-teaching staff members. Though the college is in its growing stage it has gone a long way with the help of generous donors who have been donating time and again for survival of the institution.

Let us work hard by which the institution will be able to create a milestone in the field of education by creating to the all-round needs of the society.
