The College, Kiora Junior College, Koira, an infant institution established in the remote tribal belt of sundargarh district,Orissa in the year 1992. The College accorded Govt. permission as well as 1st temporary affiliation in 1992. Finally from 2003-2004 session the College got permanent affiliation and reorganisation from the Govt. The College was primarily under private management. In the beginning the College was housed in a private building and in the Community Centre. To day, the College is proud of having an independent building of its own in the College land of 9.30 Acres. There is a Girl's Hostel for the girl's students. There are two streams like Arts and Commerce having 128 seats & 64 seats respectively in the College and there are total 11 numbers of staff (seven teaching four non-teachings).
