Kisinda Junior College, Kisinda, Sambalpur was established in 1995 but recognized and affiliated in the year 1997-98.The college was permanently recognized by the Dept. of Higher Education, Govt. of Odisha in 2003-04. It is located in Kisinda, which is dominated by tribal people. Since last decade the region has been severely affected by Maoists. It is at a distance of 35 K.M from Rairakhol and 27 km from Naktideul Block Headquarter. The college imparts Higher Education in Arts at +2 level. The basic objectives of the institution are to impart Higher Education to poor students of the backward areas and to foster their academic ability for competition both at state & National level.
