Some of the educationally consecious citizens Jyotivihar, Busla abd local areas bave decided to establish Jyoti Vihar Junior College facilities higher educations to the level needy students of Busla, Jyotivihar and near by assess. Considering the request of the above citizens Sambalpur University has established the Jyotivihar Junior College with approval from the Government. Since its inceptions it has been imparting education at +2 level.
The College is permanently recognized by Government of Odisha and also permanently affiliated Secondary Education Odisha.This is a co-educational +2 institute with 128 sanctioned strength in Science stream and 64 in Arts stream in each years.Since its inception the college is fully managed by Sambalpur University through a Governing Body constituted by the members of syndicate of Sambalpur University.This year the College completed 24 years. The present student strength of the college is 321 (Science & Arts) with 12 teaching staff and hon-teaching staff members.Let us work hard by which the institution will be able to creat a milestone in the field of education by creating to the all-round needs of the society.
