Kabi Prasana Patamani Anchalik Junior Mahavidyalaya was established At- Malipada, Po- Malipada, under Block & Distt- Khordha with a substantial donation given by the people of 10 G.Ps of Khordha Block & the Non-Govt. Organization Balmikeswar Yubak Sangh of malipada to impart Higher Education for the Rural poor students. As malipada was a Historical place & was the Garh of Dalabehera's those were fighting against the British people to achieve freedom before the sepai mutiny of 1857.

     Through the area was famous for heroic action of the past yet the Educational institution was very limited for which poorest of the poor were unable to avail the Higher Education here. Particularly the Rural poor people of this locality were unable to bear the expenses to give their children Higher Education in distance town. Malipada is central place for communication of near by 10 G.Ps of Khordha Block. So it was decided in the year 1991 to open a Junior Mahavidyalaya at this place by the public.

     In the primary stage the college was functioning with two class rooms & one office room with Govt. Permission, Reorganization, & Affiliation for 128 students in +2 Arts. Dr. P.K. Patasani founder father of the college has tried his best to make it a full fledge college. Though it is a co-education college large numbers of Girl's are taking admission here.

     Now this college is celebrating of its 21 years of establishment with 192 seats in +2 Arts having all requisite infrastructure. The college is declared as an independent Examamination Centre by the C.H.S.E from 1994 & a large number of rural poor students have availed higher educ. facilities from this institution. Governing Nobody of the college has decided to open +2 Science, Commerce for the next academic session.

     Now the college is in the developing stage in its infrastructure there are many work yet to be done for the college. So financial & moral support in this regard is needed from the Govt & the local people to make it a full fledge one.
