Established in 2000 as Ekalavya Model Residential School at Govt. High school kujendri premises & later shifted to Siriguda which is at a distance of 5 K.M from bus stand/ Railway Station Rayagada in 2007 & Continuing till date. The school is is having students from Class-VI to Class-XII (Science Stream) having a total strength 429.In the academic session 2011-12 from class-VI to Class-XII it is having a total strength of 219 Boys & 210 Girls.There is statutory provision of 30 Tribal Boys & 30 Tribal Girls for Enrolment in class-VI every year through entrance test on merit basis 60% of the strength on entrance are being enrolled every year since inception which covers staff, children, PH & Tribal as well as other caste are religion students belonging to revenue villages under the arena of school campus.
