Situated 7 Kilometres away from Sundargarh at village Bhedabahal on Sundargarh-Jharsuguda state Highway No. 10. It is a sponsored Institution of Prayas Pragya Niketan Trust established in 2006. It is a Residential cum day-scholar Co-education institution catering to the needs of locals and its periphery.
The college started functioning with effect from 22nd September 2007 after it was accorded permission by department of Higher Education, Odisha with a sanctioned strength of 128 seats in the subject Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics Biology, Information Technology and Statistics besides the compulsory subject, It got into first temporary recognisation from the department of Higher Education, Odisha in 2008, The main objective of setting up the institution is to provide quality education.
The Institution nurtures students through entrance oriented, integrated teaching and continual testing evaluation process to maximize their potential for success.
