The college . Nuagaon (Jr.) Mahavidyalaya has been established in 1989, in the Block Headquarters of Nuagaon. By the help of the local intellectuals, volunteers, donors and social workers it has been marching ahead since establishment. It has been spreading education and knowledge in this rural area. It obtained temporary Govt. recognition and C.H.S.E. affiliation in the year 1990-91. It has got permanent recognition and affiliation in the session 2003-04. It has been imparting teaching in +2 Arts stream with sanctioned strength of 128 students now the college is under managing committee control and it is going to get 40% of block grant aid under the 2008 grant in aid policy to 662 unaided private colleges.
