Maa Duarsuni +2 College, Kuabuda Named after the Village Goddess Maa Duarsuni is situated on the Heart of the Village Kuabuda, Block Kuliana (Chandua), Mayurbhanj. The College is only 12 km. distance from the district Head quarter Baripada to its South and N.H. - 5 which is not far from the Institution. The College bears a Solitary look most befitting for a centre of Higher Education. Though late, with the Population will and Craze for Higher Education the College was Established in the year 1998.

The Long Cherished dream of this locality ultimately materialized by the active Co-operation of the people of Kuabuda in general and leadership of Durga Charan Marndi, Ex. Chairman, Kuliana Block (Chandua), Madan Mohan Mohanta, Social Worker and Chandra Mohan Besra, Educationist, Social Worker in particular. The Foundation Stone of the College was laid by Sudam Charan Marndi, Ex. M.L.A., Kuliana, Ex. M.P., Mayurbhanj on 23rd March, 1998. Since then the College has not looked behind. On one side of the town stands the temple of Learning in sylvan surrounding spreading around more than Ac. 7.00 Dec. of land. To add to its beauty and serenity an original sal-forest stands adjacent to the College.

The College started with 65 nos. of students 6 Teachers and 10 nos. of Non-Teaching staff with only +2 Arts Classes. At Present there are 206 nos. of Students reading in our College, 6 nos. of Teaching Staff and 10 nos. of Non-Teaching staffs are Rendering their services for the all round development of the Institution.The College has carved a rich in the field of Education in Mayurbhanj district.

The enthusiastic Public, Co-operative alumne and the active G.B. of the College extended their maximum Cooperation in all Positive thinking. In the mean time Office automation and good library is at our hand with the sincerity and enthusiasm of the members of the staff, we dream of a College which can fulfill the aspirations of the Public and students of the Locality
