Our crest gives a symbolic interpretation of the line written at its base. Inscribed on the crest is the name of the College.
The image of Goddess Sarba Mangala at the centre symbolized blessing of Learning with fingers of fire. The book kept on the stand speaks about awakening and enlightening whereas the halo of circle stands for the ever widening bounds of knowledge that remains to be explored. The line of paddy all-round "The Mother" is the symbol of abundant production of rice that sustains the economy of the region. The opening pair pens at both the sides highlight the overflowing knowledge of the learners.
Kalahandi, one of the backward districts in the map of our nation, experiences a very litte change even long after the Independence of our country.
