Ram Kali Devi Trust Higher Secondary School, a co-educational institution under Sambalpur municipality in the Budharaja Location, presently received 40% Block grant as per GIA order 2008 has its establishment since 1991 by the general public for the purpose of imparting Higher education to the outgoing students of Budharaja High School.
The college is permanently recognized by Government of Odisha and also permanently affiliated to Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha.
Since inception it was running in the name of Budharaja Higher Secondary School. Later on, i.e. in 1994 the early name got changed to Ram Kali Devi Trust Higher Secondary School as the Trust members donated the required land for its existence.
The college was managed by a Governing Body until 40% aid and thereafter as per aided notification order.
