In the midist of natural surroundings Raghunath (+2) Mahavidyalaya, named after Raghunath Hembram, Ex-minister, four times MLA, Karanjia constituency social worker, Educationist, Politician, has been established in 1992, the foundation stone of which was laid by the then Hon'ble Chief Minister of Odisha Late Biju Pattnaik, Hon'ble Chief Minister of Odisha in the hear of village Kadadiha under Karanjia Biock with view of to spread higher education.

     The long cherished dream of this locality was unlimitedly materialized by the active co-operation of the people of the area in general under the of the people of the in general under the leadership of Mr. Kamintkanta Mohanta Educationist, social worker, politician of village, Kapandra under Block Karanjia Dist Mayurbhanj.

     The College started with 104th nos. of students. Teachers 10 nos of one-teaching staff with only +2 Arts Class. Over the years continuous growth has now made the college a full-fledged one with Arts & Science Stream.

     The enthusiastic public, co-operative alumina & the active G.B. of the college extended their maximum co-operation in all positive thinking for which we could be able to fulfill the aspirations
