Kantabanji Vocational (Degree) College, Kantabanji At - Dhamandanga under Turekela Block Dist:-Bolangir, Orissa was established by a Registered Educational Society to Cater to the need of Higher Education in undergraduate level in this Educationally Backward area. It was accorded the necessary Permission and Recognition from the Department of Higher Education, Government of Odisha for imparting three Years Degree Course in Arts & Commerce from the Session 1990-91. It is affiliated to Sambalpur University as a Constituent College in General Education.
Kantabanji Vocational College was Notified as an aided Educational Institution w.e.f. 01.01.2004. Since its inception it has been Striving to Provide Quality Education to build-up the Students for further Higher Studies and to enrich the Human Resource with qualitative beck-up required for Various field. Large number of Students mostly belongs to Schedule Castes, Schedule Tribes and Socio- Economically backward Class. For them pursuing Higher Education elsewhere might not be Possible. Besides the Regular Curriculum, it also undertakes various Co-curricular activities for the alround development of the Student and Promotional Art, Culture, Games and Sports etc.
