Jamankira Degree College Jamankira was established on 01.06.1992 with Arts Stream in +3 level. It is situated in a tribal dominated ITDA Block named Jamankira Block Jamankira in the Sub- Division Kuchinda and District Sambalpur. Though the College is established in 1992 it got its Recognition from Odisha Govt. and Affiliation from Sambalpur University from the academic Year 1993. After the establishment of this institution the long felt need for higher education in this tribal dominated pocket of Odisha got fulfilled which specifically aims at educating the poor and weaker section of the society. Since its opening it is functioning in its own new building and striving hard for excellence in its way to fulfill its goal and mission.
