Longest journey starts from a shortest step. Though our college was born in the defunct basic training school on 7th of July 1988 with a single stream  +2 Arts having  eleven students, five lecturers, and a scanty number of ministerial and class IV staff, now it is known for its academic glory, increasing students strength and socio-cultural activities leading to the pinnacle of success in the field of education both in science and humanities with the support of  eminent educationist, dedicated social worker devoted teachers, ideal students and villagers at large. Now our college is the second largest college of its kind having both +2 Arts & Science with a roll strength of seven hundred sixty eight, now functioning in its own vast two storied building with two blocks, ARTS & SCIENCE BLOCK.
