The established a Indira Gandhi Womens College with the permission of Govt. of Odisha in the beginning the College ran in the township at NAC. Girls High School. In Feb 2002 the College was Shifted to its own building near the remja power house, Brajrajnagar it got permanent Recognition in 2003-04 of +2 Arts Stream, Affiliated to CHSE. Odisha, since the beginning the College has been the center of learning for imparting Higher Education at +2 Arts faculty to the Girls chiefly belonging to SC/ST and Economically and socially the backward families of this locality and border area of Odisha and Chhatishgarh inspite of the improper and insufficient building and infrastructural problems.
