Hariswar Dev Vocational Science College, Panasapada, Krushnaprasad Block of Puri District ,Orissa is situated on the sandbar demanding Bay of Bengal and Chilika lagoon in 1985. Hariswar Dev Vocational Science college was started with +2 Sc. (64 seats) and +2 Arts (128 seats). The college opened +3 stream in Arts (128 seats) 1989. Then the sanctioned strength of +2 Arts was extended to 192 and 96 in science from the session 1992-93. The +3 Arts stream was officially separates from +2 streams in 2004-05 session. Again, the sanctioned strength of +2 Sc. Was extended to 128 seats from the session 2011-12. The strength in the subjects are Economics-192, Pol. Sc.-128, History-128, Odia-128, Logic-64, Sanskrit-64, Education-64, Physics-128, Chemistry-128, Mathmatics-128, Biology-128, Geography-96, I.T-16 and Computer Science-16.
