Govt.High school, Dharambandha ,Nuapada has been upgraded to Higher Secondary School in the year 2006 to facilitate higher education especially to ST/ SC community.Since its inception it has been imparting education in separate two storied building in 2007.The college is permanent recognized by Govt.of Odisha and also affiliated to CHSE.
This is a co-educational +2 Institute with 64+64 seats in science and 48+48 in commerce. It is completely managed by Govt. of Odisha in SSD Department. The present student strength in science in 112 and in commerce is 84.Total teaching staff is 9 and nonteaching staff is 5.It has separate building for gents hostel and for ladies hostel.The ladies hostel is being provided with a ladies staff for assistance. The student mess is being managed by the staff members in monthly rotation system. The boarders are being paid post metric scholarship by the SSD department.
