This illustrious institution was founded in 2007 by the state Govt. of Odisha named Govt. Junior Science College, Jeerango, Gajapati. This College is meant for +2 Science Course only with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology. It is situated in the interior tribal area of Gajapati Dist. 35 Kms away  from the Dist Headquarter. All the members of staff (Both teaching & Non-teaching) are posted to this college on deployment basis. No Financial power has been delegated to the Principal in charge of this college
