Sanatan Harichandan Junior Mahavidyalaya, Madanpur is established in the year 1992. The college is situated two km away from Gohira Chhak on N.H.5 and 12 km away from Baramunda Govt. Bus Stand. It is named after the famous social worker of Tamando Area. It introduced +2 Artsin the year 1992, +2 Sc. In the year 2001 and +2 Commerce in the year 2010. It provides I.T. Education in the Science stream from the year 2006. It is permanently recognized by the Govt. of Odisha and permanently affiliated to CHSE, Odisha, Bhubaneswar in +2 Arts and +2 Science stream. It is surrounded by Gandhi Group of Institutions in one side and Utkal University of culture on another side. It is also situated at a little distance from the Chandaka wild life sanctuary and Deras Agricultural form. Here, N.S.S. activities and camps are hold throughout the year. Examination like Quarterly, Half yearly and Annual are conducted systematically. Remedial classes, Computer Education, Internet, Yoga etc. are provided to the students for their upliftment as well as for development of Rural SC/ST/ Minority and Women Students.

     This institution has now provided the minimum infrastructural facilities like Classroom, Toilets, Playgrounds, Common Room, Staff, Boys and Girls, drinking water, library, laboratories, and greenery for a peaceful and beautiful environment.
