Our College, Pabitranagar Mohavidyalaya was established in the year 1985 under the guidance of Veteran freedom fighter and Dy Chief Minister ot Odisha Late Pabitra Mohan Pradhan taking the co-operation ot the local elites and benevolent persons of Pabitranagar locality under the jurisdiction of Kaniha Block. It imparted +2 Arts class with 128 seats in old E.T. School building. After 3 years it was shifted and started functioning in its own campus spreading over 10 Acres of land the fush green forest with sylvan beauty ot the nature. The College is recognised by Govt ot Odisha in the year 1987-88 and affiliated by Council of Higher Secondary Education in the same year with 128 seats in +2 Arts (History, Pol. Science, Economics & Oriya subjects) and +2 science recognised by the Govt. of Odisha in the year 1997-98 and affiliated in the same academic year with subject- Physics, Chemistry Mathematics & Biology 64 seats each.
