Biraja Women's College,Jajpur ,Orissa is the first full aided women,s college situated on the heart of the district head quarter of Jajpur.Established in the year 1980 it is recognized by the Govt.of Orissa and affiliated to the Utkal University.It is a degree college in Arts and also having Science and Arts in +2 stage.The college is registered under 2f & 12B of UGC in the year 2006.The college is beautifully located in the middle of jajpur Town only at a throw stone distance from the shrine of Maa Biraja on the north and Jagannath Temple on the south.It's easy accesbility leads special charm to the scholars of the college.

The college imparts undergraduate programme in B.A. and Arts and science programme in +2 Level.It adopts U.G.C.course patterns of Utkal University having Hons.teaching facilities in History,Oriya and Sanskrit with 16 seats each in these subjects.The sanctioned strength of +3 Arts is 128 and that of +2 Arts and Science in +2 level are 192 and 64 respsctively.

The College provides a very good, well equipped sophisticated Library and laboratory for the students.
