About Women's College Rayagada
Women's College , Rayagada is a non-Govt. Aided educational Institution imparting higher education in +2 and degree level. Education to a girl child tantamount to education to a generation. Keeping this noble thought in view the munificent souls of Rayagada sat through a meeting on 28.3.1982 and with one mind and sprit decided to setup an institution of higher learning to impart such education to bring the under privileged girl children of erstwhile undivided Koraput District to the dawn of a new Scientific Civilization. The institution was cherished as Women's College, Rayagada and got registered on 1.8.1982. This is one of the oldest Women educational institution of undivided Koraput District. It extends teaching facilities in Humanities and Science.
