The established in the year 1975 as an intermediate college under Utkal University is named after Late Upendranath Pradhan & his Wife late Sarada Devi,Soro,Balasore.It beccame a full fledged degree college in the year 1983-84,commerce classes at the Degree level started in 1992-93 & science classes in the year 1994-95.
The college has a campus with 2.70 of land out of total land of 14.67 acres and 24.300sq fit build up area. This college is obtaining U.G.C assistance. It has been accreditated by NAAC.
