Angul is a flourishing District comprising a number of Industries & factories all around it. By observing the demand of circumstances the Evening College, Angul was established in the year of 1999 with the prior permission of Government of Odisha, Department of Higher Education under the vigilance & endeavour Mr. Pradeep Kumar Panda(Advocate), Dr. Minaketan Purohit, Mr. Babaji Charan Sahoo & Mr. Bijaya Kumar Dash. In the beginning the Evening College, Angul imparted the teaching for the student of +2 Arts in a small building in front of the temple of Lord Jagannath, Angul. At that time the Classes started with 75 students both fresh metric pass out & working fellows and 6 teaching & 5 non teaching staff. The college is recognised Government of Odisha and affiliated to the Council of Higher Secondary Education of Odisha IN THE Year of 2001. This institution is a co-education both the boys & girls of Angul town in the surrounding area. The college had completed almost 11 year connecting of 128 students with the same number of staff. Although the college is growing stage. Now the college is running with an approved Governing Body.
