About Barasahi Panchayat Samiti College
Barasahi Panchayat Samiti College, Barasahi , Mayurbhanja was established on 07th September,1978 with the academic enthusiasm of the local intellectual and lovers of education. Initially starting with only Intermediate Arts and Commerce courses, it got Government Recognition and Utkal University Affiliation in the year 1979-80. Subsequently the College was affiliated to North Orissa University and has been recognised by the University Grants Commission under 2F & 12B.
At present the college imparts teaching in Higher Secondary as well as Degree Courses in Arts, Science and Commerce with all traditional and modern subjects. It has been Accredited with Grade-'B' in 2009.
